Capital Planning

Capital Budgets are responsible for minor and major capital on projects for the community of Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nation.  In the past the community has been involved in the construction of the community building, daycare centre, outdoor rink, 5-Plex Unit, Water Treatment Plant, new housing, Roundhouse, and Pow Wow Grounds.  Currently, the community is in the planning stages of the New Administration building, no completion date is set.. 

Operations and Maintenance

Operations and Maintenance is responsible for the infrastructure of the community including the Nigigoonsiminikaaning Daycare Centre, Community Building, Water Treatment Plant, Roads, Snow Removal, Garage, and Fire Hall.  They also maintain band-owned vehicles, and construction equipment for the community.
